Mommy and Me
Developmental Group

Lead by an Occupational Therapist, our Mommy & Me Developmental Group provides moms the opportunity to connect with other moms, bond with your baby, and learn interactive developmental strategies directly from a specialist!

Each session includes 4 classes. Each class will focus on a different area of development and will include a discussion on evidence based strategies to promote development, interactive activities with baby, and resources for at home use. 

​

$120 a session. Payment due 2 weeks prior to Session start day. Refundable up to 50% of session if cancellation received within 3 business days prior to session start date. Non- refundable after session start date. Please contact us with any questions or concerns!

Week 1- Play and Motor Development

  • Tummy Time Strategies and Hacks

  • How to Promote Visual, Fine, and Gross Motor Development

  • The Importance of Midline Orientation

  • Tips to Prevent Toritcollis and Flattening of the Head

Week 3- Feeding 

  • Learn Tips to Bottle Feed and Introduce Bottles

  • Tips to Preserve the Breastfeeding Relationship while Also Bottle Feeding

  • Which Bottle Systems and Feeding Utensils Promote Proper Oral Development 

  • Tips on How and When to introduce a Straw, Open Cup, and Solid Foods

Week 2- Speech and Language Development

  • Learn the importance of Nursery Rhymes and Reading

  • Learn Baby Sign Language and How this can help with Language Development 

  • Strategies for Oral Play and Proper Oral Motor Development

Week 4 - Milestone Review & Maternal Health

  • Quick Guide on Key Milestones in the First Year of Life 

  • Ways to Promote  Crawling, Walking, and Fine Motor Skills 

  • Play Tips as your Child Grows

  • Ergonomics to Handle Baby

  • Return to Work Strategies

  • Resources for Maternal Health and Wellness  in our Community ( Pelvic Floor Therapy and Mental Health)
